Artist comment: Being an artist is a wonderful and very frustrating gift! When I create a work, I want it to be seen, I want to know what people think or feel about it. In every artist there is the drive to be known while we are still alive! Too often an artist becomes "great" a hundred years "after" they have lived. In every piece of artwork there is a part of the artist. I don't want to just sell my art I want to find "homes" for my art. To know it is in a place where it will be seen appreciated and passed down from one generation to the next, that's the goal of my creative legacy. To know that my works have aroused a smile, perhaps triggered a thought or an echo of a memory. If something I've created provokes a peaceful or happy reflection, a glance or a voyage to the imagination...then I have succeeded in being an artist.
To God be the glory for the things He has done, in my life.
